Lebanon pulls out of MVP Cup

Lebanon will not be making the Manila trip as the squad pulled out of the MVP Cup.

MVP Sports Foundation executive and Sports5 head Chot Reyes confirmed the news through Twitter, expressing his disappointment with the development.


The organizers are now looking for a replacement in the four-team tournament slated on September 11 to 13 which will serve as the final tune-up for Gilas Pilipinas before it flies to Changsa, China for the 2015 Fiba Asia Championship.

So far, Chinese Taipei and New Zealand squad Wellington Saints are the only squads who have confirmed their participation.
