Josan Nimes didn’t suit up for Mapua for three games, and the Cardinals went 1-2 without their star forward.
On Thursday, Nimes dusted off his Cardinals’ red-and-yellow jersey and scored four points as he gauged where his injured hamstring could take him.

Come fourth quarter, Nimes got his groove and scored eight of his 18 points including the last two points with 45 seconds left.
“I think it’s at 90 percent,” Nimes said after their 87-78 victory over San Sebastian at San Juan Arena. “It’s better than I expected.”
“I didn’t know how much my hamstring could take me,” Nimes said. “I’m old, I’m not nervous of the injury.”
