Curry—who led the Golden State Warriors this season to their first NBA championship in 40 years—hopes to interact with Filipino fans in a basketball showcase presented by Under Armour at Mall of Asia Arena.

The tour, dubbed as “The UA Roadshow featuring Stephen Curry,” will also have the superstar guard conduct drills and shootouts with selected varsity players in the 2 p.m. fan event.

Along with Curry, Under Armour founder and chief executive officer Kevin Plank aims to bring across the brand’s message “to persevere in turning their dreams into reality.”

The 6-foot-3 Curry will fly in from his Friday tour in Tokyo.

There, the charming 27-year-old captivated fans and also conducted a shooting clinic with Japan’s Under-19 team.

Curry will leave for China tomorrow for stops in Beijing (Sept. 6), Chongqing (Sept. 7) and Shanghai (Sept. 8).  Two weeks ago, Curry’s Finals opponent, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, returned to Manila for a second trip in two years.
