Gilas Pilipinas is back home after winning the silver medal in the 2015 Jones Cup in Chinese Taipei.

The Filipinos finished the tournament with a 6-2 record with losses to Asian rivals South Korea and eventual champion Iran.

The Iranians bagged their fifth Jones Cup title after winding up with the best record at 7-1 with their only setback coming at the hands of USA when they opted to rest their 7-foot-2 giant Hamed Haddadi.

The Philippines concluded a grueling Jones Cup stint where it played for eight straight days.

Next for Gilas is the MVP Cup, which serves as its final tuneup before flying to China for the 2015 Fiba Asia Championship, on Sept. 11 here.
