Overseas trips pepper PBA teams’ offseason
All 12 teams sure are hell-bent to snare at least one, if not all, of the three championships up for grabs this coming 41st season of the PBA.
And for some squads, what better way for them to prepare for this season than get a taste of higher competition and have a grind out of the country.
Meralco engaged its whole squad to one of the toughest offseason workouts in Las Vegas at Impact Basketball in hopes of improving its standing this season.

Blackwater also had its fair share of overseas competition, finishing second in the 2015 Seri Mutiara Champions Cup in Malaysia.
But for some, an out-of-the-country trip is no longer needed as international teams are already flying in to the country for their own exhibition games.

GlobalPort, NLEX, and Mahindra also have scheduled games against Asian teams as the visitors also ready themselves for the upcoming 2015 Fiba Asia Championship.
