San Miguel Beer head coach Leo Austria was in attendance when his former team Adamson dueled with Ateneo at Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday.

Austria was there on a scouting mission and from his observations, he said the Falcons run limited plays while the Blue Eagles were being too reliant on their star guard Kiefer Ravena.

Austria keenly watched as both teams look for their first win when all of a sudden, he turned his attention to a reporter, who’s glued on to his phone watching an episode of Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye.

Austria admits that he, too, is hooked on the series which has been the highlight of the longest running noontime show on Philippine TV and its love team that has taken the country by storm in Maine Mendoza, who’s more known by her character as “Yaya Dub” and Alden Richards.

Austria said he watches the latest episode every after his practice sessions with the Beermen.

“I have someone recording it for me so I can watch at night,” Austria said.

As fans from Ateneo and Adamson cheered, so did Austria, who couldn’t help but blurt out a resounding “yes!” upon learning that the love team had finally met without anything in between them.
