Baby Tams boost Jumbo Cup F-4 bid

FAR Eastern University drew big games from Kenji Roman and JJ Sapinit to down University of Santo Tomas, 63-58, on Sunday and boost its semifinal bid in the 2nd PCABL Jumbo Plastic Linoleum Cup at Philippine Buddhacare Academy gym in Quezon City.

Roman had 15 points and 10 rebounds to claim the Jumbo Plastic Player of the Game while Sapinit added 11 points as FEU tied defending champion Chiang Kai Shek College for third to fourth places at 4-2.

University of the Philippines Integrated School made the race for the last two berths more intense with a 112-51 rout of Letran-B.

With Allane Barles and Jumbo Player of the Game Javy De Liano at the helm, the Junior Maroons raced to 65-21 lead at the half.
