Rousey admits crying ‘all the time’ during fight week
The baddest woman on the planet cries too.
Ronda Rousey, who’s at the top of the sport dominated by men, is probably the least person one would want to take on.
Article continues after this advertisementBut the UFC women’s bantamweight champion tells Ellen DeGeneres during her appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” she can’t help “cry all the time during fight week,” as per ESPN.com.
“You’re so amped up and it’s like every emotion that you could possibly have, it happens during that week,” Rousey told DeGeneres.
“It’s like the most stress, most anxiety, most pressure possible and then it’s the happiest you could possibly be. It’s all these things and it’s just sometimes you can’t hold it in. It’s gotta leak out of somewhere, why not your eyes?” added Rousey, who is set to fight Holly Holm on Nov. 14 at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia.
