This early, Jordanian guard Sam Dahgles is wishing for a return trip to the country as an Asian reinforcement in the PBA.

“I’m hoping,” he said, feeling that he has unfinished business after his Talk ‘N Text in the 2015 Governors’ Cup went awry.

“After a tough conference last season with Talk ‘N Text where we didn’t do well as expected, I’d love to come back in the PBA,” said Dahgles.

Arriving in Philippines to rejoin the Jordanian national team’s preparations for the 2015 Fiba Asia Championship, Dahgles admitted that he really loved the physicality that comes in the PBA and he’d love to have another crack at it.

And he’s not the only one, with Iranian playmaker Mehdi Kamrani already signifying his intentions to be an Asian reinforcement for the third conference.

This should be a welcome boost for the PBA as Asian prospects try to test their mettle against our local backcourt players.

However, it isn’t about the experience anymore for Dahgles. He’s more motivated to gun for the title this time out.

“Whoever I play for, I hope to take them to the playoffs and the championship hopefully,” he said.

It’s also a chance for him to square off with his good friend Jimmy Alapag, who is returning to the court this time with Meralco.

But Dahgles said that he’s just keeping his lines open, not discounting the possibility that their potential duel could turn out to be a partnership.

“We’ll never know,” he said.
