University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern U try to salvage some measure of pride in their battle for third Saturday in the Shakey’s V-League Season 12-Collegiate Conference.

After pushing Ateneo to the limit, the Tigresses simply failed to keep up with the Lady Eagles in the deciding game of their best-of-three semifinal playoff while the Lady Tams got swept by the National U Lady Bulldogs much earlier in the other semifinal encounter.

Both the Tigresses and the Tams take on each other at the start of their race-to-two affair at 12:45 p.m. at Filoil Flying V Arena.

Expectations are high for Ennajie Laure to deliver as well as for Carmela Tunay, Marivic Meneses, Jessey De Leon and skipper Pam Lastimosa in their bid to erase the painful semifinal exit against the Eagles.
