In dire need of a big man, Barako Bull reacquired the services of Mick Pennisi from Star.
The PBA Commissioner’s Office approved the trade on Friday, as the 40-year-old sharpshooter returns to the Energy fort.
Barako Bull shipped a 2017 second rounder to Star to secure the services of the 6-foot-11 former national team member.
The Hotshots traded for Pennisi last year in exchange of Ronnie Matias and Isaac Holstein to bulk up their frontline after losing Ian Sangalang to an ACL injury early in the season.
However, the big man didn’t see much action last year as Star failed to defend all of their three titles.
Pennisi joins Jake Pascual and Rico Maierhofer in the Barako Bull frontline for coach Koy Banal.
