A resort triathlon experience is what Anvaya Cove Beach & Nature Club hopes to offer when the 8th Anvaya Cove Invitation Triathlon rolls off Oct. 17 in Morong, Bataan.
The standard 1.5K swim-40K bike-10K run distance serves as the centerpiece of the two-day event also showcasing the first-class resort’s new amenities for racers and their supporters.
Other events include the 750m swim-20K bike-1K run sprint and the 500m swim-9K bike-2.5K run mini-sprint.
Young racers can also give a glimpse of their potential in the SuperTriKids (STK) side event.
A 25m swim-200m run aquathlon is up for participants aged eight and below, a 200m swim-2K bike-1K run triathlon for nine to 10 years old and a 300m swim-4K bike-2K run triathlon for 11 to 12 years old.
A discounted registration fee of P1,000 (STK), P3,500 (sprint/mini-sprint), P4,000 (standard distance) and P8,000 (sprint relay) is offered until Sept. 30. For inquiries, call 7108259. J. W. Payo
