AFP, PNP fives trip UNTV Cup foes
Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police tripped their foes Thursday to stay on top of their groups in the 4th UNTV Cup at Ynares Arena in Pasig.
Boyet Bautista topscored with 26 points as the AFP Cavaliers bested the Judiciary Magis, 90-81, in Group B.
The PNP Responders waylaid the Department of Justice Boosters, 98-58, for their second straight win in Group A.
In the other game, Marlon Adolfo had 24 points and 10 rebounds as Bureau of Fire Protection stopped Ombudsman, 75-66, for a 2-1 record and second place in Group B.
