National stalwarts pace Sletba Open

Philippine team stalwarts have started asserting themselves in the ongoing 19th Sletba Open at Sta. Lucia Grand Mall in Cainta, Rizal.

Ariel Young of TBAM-Prima (1347) and Kenneth Chua of TBAM (1345), both Philippine team members, pace the Open Masters division. Pabs Penalba of Sletba, who led the first day qualifiers, is at third spot with 1304.

In the Graded Masters field, Anjo Lecaros of TBAM still leads the pack with 1369, followed by Tobs Renacia and Tony Gamo, both of Sletba, with 1254 and 1243, respectively.

Art Barrientos of TBAM-Prima is on top in both the Associate Masters division (1237) and Youth category (1471).

In the Seniors division, Alfred Pimentel of Sletba paced the field with 1349, followed by Ed Arcega of ATBA (1337) and Abel Ulanday of Sletba (1321).

It’s a close fight in the Ladies group with Rjoy Daval Santos of TBAM leading with 1210, followed by Marissa Campita (1207).
