Palawan Pawnshop Negros series blasts off tomorrow
THE PALAWAN Pawnshop-Palawan Express Pera Padala regional age group tennis circuit presented by Technifibre swings to Negros Occidental this month with a series of tournaments beginning with the Pontevedra leg that fires off tomorrow at St. Michael Tennis Courts.
La Carlota aces Tracy Llamas and Kiana de Asis will each see action in three categories, including the premier girls’ 18-and-under section of the Group 3 tournament that also features Mariz Singson, Amor Decendario, Valerie Desoyo, Jewel Milliam, Erica Sevilla and Dorelle Laguda.
Llamas and De Asis are also tipped to figure prominently in the 14- and 16-U divisions of the four-day event sponsored by the country’s leading pawnshop, remittance and claim center and hosted by Fr. Angelo Jojie Ansola and Mayor Jose Maria Alonso.
Up next is the Masskara Tennis Festival on Oct. 15 to 19.
