Every game crucial for 3-4 Bulldogs, says Altamirano
National University entered the 78th season of the UAAP as the top dogs, but after the first round, the Bulldogs remain in the middle of the pack at fifth with a 3-4 record.
That’s why for the head coach of the reigning titlist, every game from then on is crucial especially with the Final Four picture set to shape-up in the second round.

“Every game is crucial,” siad coach Eric Altamirano said after a 61-59 loss against Far Eastern University on Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“We need every game we can get.”
Article continues after this advertisementNU started out with a 0-3 record but managed to get on a three game win streak but the Bulldogs saw it snap against the Tamaraws.
Altamirano, however, doesn’t want to dwell in the disappointing start.
“We’re still upbeat. We try to stay positive, there’s no point in dwelling in the past.”
