National badminton opening reset

/ 11:34 PM October 18, 2015

The opening of the 2015 Bingo Bonanza National Open badminton tournament scheduled today at Rizal Memorial Badminton Hall has been reset due to inclement weather spawned by Typhoon “Lando.”

The opening matches, featuring two men’s singles, four men’s doubles and one mixed doubles, will instead be held Tuesday starting at 9 a.m. after the meeting among team managers and coaches.

Defending champion Gelita Castilo of UP-Diliman, Maynilad’s Pauline Tan and Sarah Barredo and Airah Albo of PBA-Smash head the women’s Open singles cast as the top four seeds.
