Bojana Todorovic, the Philips Gold import who possesses an angelic face and beast-like game, talked about how the famous Metro Manila traffic forced the team to cancel practice.

Hours before Tuesday’s match against Meralco, the 5-foot-11 former UCLA libero and open hitter chatted about how she’s getting used to the Lady Slammers’ system in particular and the Filipino life in general.

Todorovic, who hails from Belgrade, Serbia by way of Irvine, California, said she has learned to love Filipino food especially pork.

She was supposed to go to Tagaytay over the weekend but was hindered by Typhoon “Lando.”

Monday night, she was having dinner with fellow import Alexis Olgard and Fil-Am setter Lindsay Dowd at an Italian restaurant in Resorts World when 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

In their last game, Todorovic hammered 25 points including 23 kills and that rare feathery drop shot from the back row at match point to stun defending champion Petron.
