Asia’s top athletics officials coming for AAA meeting

AFTER more than a decade, the Philippines will again play host to the Asian Athletics Association Council meeting on Oct. 25 to 27 at Solaire Resort and Casino. Headed by AAA president Dahlan Al-Hamad of Qatar, the meeting will focus on the progress of athletics in the continent and will gather 30 of the top officials from 20 countries. “This is a huge honor because once again the Philippines is being given the distinction as a prime mover in athletics in Asia,” said Philip Juico, president of the athletics association.
