Tolomia tweaks ankle in Tamaraws win
It wasn’t Mike Tolomia’s night on Saturday.
The star guard missed all of his 11 attempts from the field and to make matters worse, he twisted his ankle with about a minute left in the third quarter and had to watch the remainder of Far Eastern University’s win over University of the East from the bench.
“I think sprain,” said Tamaraws head coach Nash Racela on the status of his starting guard. “But he was willing to go in the endgame. He said if we needed him he’ll play but we didn’t gamble.”
Tolomia, one of the reasons why FEU is atop the heap this season, did have nine rebounds and five assists to show.
