N Luzon regional golf lures PH pool standouts
NATIONAL team pool members Wei Wei Gao, Dan Cruz and Gido Mandanas head top players vying in the 2015 Northern Luzon Regional Golf Championship at Luisita in Tarlac on Oct. 29 to 31.
Gao, who is coming off a stint in the Nomura Cup in Abu Dhabi, sets out as top pick in the Elite Amateur Open division.
Top amateur Rupert Zaragosa has not confirmed his participation in this National Golf Association of the Philippines tournament under the PLDT Group National Amateur Golf Tour and sponsored by the MVP Sports Foundation.
Junior standouts Ira Alido and Gab Manotoc are also competing in the event which stakes titles in Mid-Am, Seniors and Novice and Mid-Am I & II and Seniors I & II.
In girls’ play, Harmie Constantino heads a field that also includes Kristine Torralba, Ashia Nocum and Korean Hwang Min-jeong.
