The Filipinos dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Thais, 28-9, off a 16-2 dash capped by a Jethro Publico capped basketball in the 3:34 mark.
Batang Gilas improved to 2-0 to lead Group C while Thailand and Bahrain are at second with 1-1 records.
Kris Harvey Pagsanjan and Samjosef Belangel were the high-point men for the Philippines as they finished with 10 points apiece while Will Allen Gozum had a near double-double of eight points and 10 boards.
Thanakrit Limjittakorn led the Thais with an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double.
