A depleted PLDT Home Ultera swung the anchor on Philippine Navy, 25-20, 20-25, 25-13, 25-13, to take a Final Four slot in the Shakey’s V-League Reinforced Conference Saturday at San Juan Arena.

Aiza Maizo-Pontillas sealed the Ultra Fast Hitters’ third win in four games with a down-the-line hit that bounced off two Lady Sailors.

PLDT’s only hiccup was its poor second set showing that allowed Navy to momentarily gain momentum and forced the Ultra Fast Hitters to play outside their game.

“We blew it,” PLDT head coach Roger Gorayeb said of his team’s effort in the second set. “We were down 7-3 then we tied it then it all went downhill for us.”
