Club champions’ golf tournament tees off Monday
WIth the promise of better weather, entries from 24 golf clubs will slug it out in the Philippine Golf Foundation National Tournament of Club Champions slated Nov. 9 to 14 in six different championship courses.
Originally set to start Oct. 19 but reset due to typhoon “Lando,” the tournament will pit the best golfers of Aguinaldo, Alabang, Anvaya, Ayala-Greenfield, Bevery Place, Eagle Ridge, Forest Hills, Iloilo, Lakewood, Manila Southwoods, Manila Golf, Mimosa, Mt. Malarayat, Orchard, Rancho Palos Verdes, Royal Northwoods, Royale Tagaytay, Summit Point, Tagaytay Highlands, Tagaytay Midlands, Valley, Villamor and Wack Wack.
The tournament is back from a two-year hiatus with PGF as title sponsor and Champion, GG&A, Golf Distributors Association of the Philippines, Haier and Sta. Lucia Land as major backers.
