Fajardo impressed by Slaughter’s PBA PH Cup showing so far
Greg Slaughter is playing his best basketball to start his third year in the PBA and his longtime rival June Mar Fajardo has taken notice of it.
“Impressive,” said San Miguel Beer’s reigning two-time MVP Fajardo on the Barangay Ginebra center’s dominance early in the season. “He just has to continue what he’s doing.”
Slaughter is averaging 27.3 points and 20.3 rebounds through three games, capped with a a 27-point, 19-rebound effort in the Kings’ win over Alaska in Dubai.
Fajardo, who is averaging a double-double as well with 16 points and 13 rebounds a game, and Slaughter are due for a titanic clash with the Beermen and Kings colliding on Sunday.
