Bobby Ray Parks Jr.’s NBA dream is slowly coming together, one paper at a time.
After getting drafted 25th overall in the 2015 NBA D-League Draft, Parks was officially included in the Texas Legends’ line-up for the 2015-2016 season.
Parks joins Dallas Mavericks’ second round draftee Satnam Singh, who is the first player out of India to be drafted into the NBA, in the Legends roster.
A brief stint in the NBA Summer League with the Mavericks gave the former National University star a chance to show his versatility in the backcourt, although Parks played sparingly across five games where he averaged 2.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and one steal.
