Drian Francisco gets another shot at glory and fame when he tangles with unbeaten Guillermo Rigondeaux for the World Boxing Association super bantamweight crown on Nov. 21 at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas

They will be appearing in the undercard of the Miguel Cotto-Saul “Canelo” Alvarez tussle for the middleweight championship.

The 33-year-old Francisco, who totes a 28-win, 3-loss, 1-draw card with 21 knockouts, was supposed to fight Danilo Peña last Friday, but withdraw after the weigh-in after getting confirmation that he’d be facing  Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KOs), whose victims include Nonito Donaire Jr. in 2013

A two-time Olympic gold medalist with Cuba, Rigondeaux hasn’t fought since New Year’s Eve 2014, when he stopped Hisashi Amagasa in Japan in 11 rounds.

Francisco has lost three of his last 11 fights, including a shocking first round knockout to Jason Canoy on May 30 in Gen. Santos City.
