Eze, Akhuetie power FEU past Hobe five
NIGERIAN big men Prince Eze and Bright Akhuetie dished out solid games to lead Far Eastern University-NRMF to a 67-60 trouncing of Hobe Bihon-Cars Unlimited Saturday Night in the 5th DELeague Basketball Tournament at Marikina Sports Center.
Eze, the 6-foot-9 center who saw action for Perpetual Help in NCAA Season 91, came through with 14 points and nine boards, while Akhuetie finished with 12 points as FEU pinned a second loss on the two-time defending champions.
The Tamaraws actually held Hobe scoreless in the last 2:39, going on a 7-0 windup to seal their third straight victory.

In other games, Sta. Lucia Land Inc. repulsed Macway Travel, 82-79, while Austen Morris Associates nipped Power Innovation, 90-86.
