NATIONAL team players Rob Gier, Daisuke Sato, Dennis Villanueva, Misagh Bahadoran and Simone Rota graced the final day of the Football for a Better Life 2015 program last Saturday, where 120 kids participated in clinics and tournaments at Army Support Command field.

Spearheaded by former national team star Chieffy Caligdong and Pru Life UK grassroots football director Chris Thomas, the program was participated in by kids from 6 to 12 years-old from eight Gawad Kalinga communities.

Clinic participants went through several drills aimed at improving dribbling and passing skills.

GK Tatalon emerged as champion of the tournament that followed the clinic with Kevin Hadap claiming Most Valuable Player honors.

Army FC ruled the U-14 and U-8 age groups, while Nomads FC and Global FC took the crowns in the U-12 and U-10 tournaments, respectively.
