Pateros Austen shocks Foton
Pateros Austen Morris Associates shocked erstwhile unbeaten Pampanga Foton, 93-91, to boost its semifinal hope in the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conference at Marikina Sports Complex Tuesday.
Nic Belasco, a former PBA star who owns and coaches the team, Jawar Purdy and Chris Cofield combined for 68 points to power the Associates to their second win against four defeats, good for a four-way tie for No. 3 with Marikina Wangs, Quezon City UP and Malolos Mighty Bulsu.
Marikina Wangs stunned First Conference champion Quezon City UP, 90-82, with Cedric Labing-isa and Kojak Melegrito scoring 20 and 18 points, respectively.

Issa Gayle bulldozed his way to 23 points and 20 rebounds in sealing the Bulldogs’ win. Levi Hernandez and Michael Rosaroso scored 18 points each for the Tornadoes.
