Rousey could be out for 180 days after medical suspension

Deposed UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has been medically suspended following her UFC 193 knockout loss to Holly Holm.

In a report on MixedMartialArts.com, the brash striker will not be allowed to return to action for 180 days at most unless she gets negative CT scan results to get the suspension commuted.

Nonetheless, Rousey is not allowed to have any contact in the next 45 days or fight inside the Octagon in the next 60 days.

The earliest she can return is on January 2016 and the latest is in June.

UFC imposed the ban after Rousey was knocked out cold at the 0:59 mark of the second round, her first career loss, after Holm connected with a thunderous kick to the head,

Holm, meanwhile, was given a mandatory seven-day suspension for precautionary reasons.
