As Foton continued its upset spree in the championship series of the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix, Petron was left to rue what went wrong and its head coach pointed out one thing.

“They were caught up in their emotions,” Blaze Spikers head coach George Pascua said.

Petron was poised for a cruise in Game One after a 25-14 first set win but got shellshocked in the next three when the Tornadoes broke away, 25-21, 25-19, 25-22.

With the game slipping out of their hands, the Blaze Spikers minimized their celebrations after each point and immediately set up their offense.

Pascua said his players need to calm down just “enjoy the game.”

“They have to enjoy it so as to lessen the pressure,” Pascua said. “If they enjoy the game that increases their adrenaline.”
