Malolos scores third FBA victory
Malolos Mighty Bulsu leaned on the duo of Mark Pangilinan and Dominic Fajardo to slip past Quezon City University of the Philippines, 75-74, Tuesday night for its third win in the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conference at Trinity University of Asia Gym.
Pangilinan and Fajardo combined for 37 points against the first conference champions as the Mighty Bulsu improved to 3-5 to keep their semifinal hopes alive.
Malolos’ win also forged a four-team tie from third to sixth spots with QC-UP, Pampanga Foton, Pateros Austen Morris and Marikina Wangs.
In other games, Manila NU-MFT whipped Austen Morris, 58-47, while Foton coasted to a 75-66 triumph over Marikina Wangs, 75-66.
