IN PHOTOS: Bataan International Triathlon Day 1
Hundreds of triathletes gathered in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar for the 2nd Bataan International Triathlon (Bi3). Among those who competed were 3-time Ironman World Champion Mirinda “Rinny” Carfrae, top Indonesian athlete Andy Wibowo, and triathletes Katja Rabe and Airi Sawada from Germany and Japan, respectively.
The race comprised of two categories: the Largo and the Rapido. The Largo is a 1.5 km swim leg, 55 km bike leg and 11 km run while the Rapido entails a shorter 750 m swim, 30 km bike leg and 5.5 km run.
