Thailand eased past Philippines-A, 21-11, 21-9, in the inaugural Spike for Peace International beach volleyball tournament Sunday at Philsports Arena.

Charo Soriano’s final attack went long, awarding the Thais a 1-0 record in Group D while the Filipinos fell to 0-1.
