National University continued to be a force to be reckoned with after easily dispatching Ateneo, 91-59, Wednesday to move one game away from winning the UAAP Season 78 women’s basketball crown at Mall of Asia Arena.

The Lady Bulldogs haven’t played since sweeping the elimination round two weeks ago but showed no signs of rust — dominating the fourth-ranked Lady Eagles from the get-go.

Afril Bernardino led NU’s onslaught with 17 points, 18 rebounds, five blocks, three assists and two steals in 27 minutes.
