WILLY Princesa carded a gross 74 to annex the Class A crown while Ador Mendoza topped Class B with a gross 84 in the Manila Southwoods Seniors Trimester Birthday Bash golf tournament presented by San Miguel Purefoods at Southwoods’ Masters course Wednesday.
Princesa finished with 64 points to edge Tony Valera in the event which served as the final tournament for players 55-years-old-and-above for the year.
Fred Javellana came through with a gross 90 for 64 points as he bested Rolly Dizon, who had 66 points from a similar gross of 90, for the Class C crown.
The regular members’ meeting and election of officers were also held before the awards rites.
Meanwhile, Mel Gozum took the nearest to the pin award (two feet on No. 5) while Jun Ramos hit the longest drive (276 yards on No. 15) for the fun holes of the event.
