BFP tries to prop UNTV semis bid

BUREAU of Fire Protection tries to fan its semifinal bid when it battles Philippine National Police at 7 p.m. today in the 4th UNTV Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig. BFP is currently tied for the Group B lead with Armed Forces of the Philippines at 5-1. Reigning champion Judiciary faces National Housing Authority at 5 p.m. while Group A leader Malacañang collides with Metro Manila Development Authority at 3:30 p.m. With a 2-3 card in Group B, the Judiciary Magis are in dire need of a win to keep their flickering quarterfinal hopes alive.
