FBA semis on: Pampanga clashes with Marikina
Pampanga Foton collide with Marikina Wangs while Manila NU-MFT battles Pateros Austen Morris in Saturday’s semifinals of the Filsports Basketball Association (FBA) Second Conference at Marikina Sports Center in Marikina.
The duel between the Mica Tan-backed Bulldogs and the Associates is set at 3:30 p.m. with the match pitting the Toplanders and the Deliverers scheduled at 5:30.
Pampanga wound up the top seed after finishing with a league-best 8-2 record capped by an 87-73 win over Manila NU-MFT (7-3).
Pateros Austen Morris leaned on Jawhar Purdy’s 33 points to edge Quezon City UP, 84-82, and clinch the No. 3 seed at 5-5 while Marikina (4-6) took the last spot with a 130-123 win over Malolos Mighty Bulsu.
The games will be aired via Aksyon TV and Net 25.
