Dela Merced joins Cannonball 2016
Celebrity and former race car champion Gaby dela Merced has joined the growing list of participants the Cannonball 2016, the country’s biggest motorsports event slated to roar off at Oxford Hotel and Casino at the Clark Freeport in Pampanga on Jan. 8.
Dela Merced, a former Pinoy Big Brother housemate, will attempt to finish the Northern Luzon route totaling 1,200 kilometers in less than a day, together with an elite list of participants, that includes actor Albert Martinez, Senator JV Ejercito and acting Makati Mayor Romulo Peña.
The Cannonball 2016, open to all cars and motorcycles 301cc and above, is organized by six-time endurance champion Joey Almeda and backed by Flying V, Chua Peng Chai, Fil Oil; Petron, BMW, KTM, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, TVS, Peugeot, Jeep, Mahindra and Ropali.
