V-League Finals MVP plum a surprise for Valdez
Alyssa Valdez never played a single minute during the eliminations and the semifinals of the Shakey’s V-League Reinforced Conference.
Then the finals came against an undefeated Philippine Army and Valdez was back on her usual spot on the floor.

Hobbling after a fourth set bump, Valdez led the Ultra Fast Hitters with 22 points and she not only took home the gold medal, she also got a brand new Finals MVP trophy with her.
“It’s really random I got the MVP but I’M really grateful for it,” Valdez said. “I guess it’s done and all I can say is everyone has to learn from whatever decision they make so I’m happy.”
