Realtors rip Rising Suns, tab PCBL semifinals slot
STA. LUCIA Realty blasted Cagayan Valley Tuesday night, 84-56, to barge its way to the semifinals of the PCBL Founders Cup at JCSGO Gym.
Flexing their muscles right from the get-go, the Realtors held their rivals to only eight points in the second period while unloading 25 points to take a comfortable 45-19 half time lead and never looked back.
In securing the last semifinals berth, the Realtors forged a best-of-three series with Jumbo Plastic.

Unlike in the first meeting in the quarterfinal round where the Rising Suns’ frontliners dominated the Realtors, coach Bonnie Garcia and his troop regrouped and came up with a good defensive game plan Tuesday.
They held the Rising Suns below 30-percent shooting from the field.

Leading the charge for the Realtors was Jett Vidal, the former Perpetual Help star, who came away with 15 points built around four triples. Big men Jun Gabriel and Wowie Escosio each tallied 12 markers.
