Bisera leads PGT Qualifying School by 2 shots

A merry mix of veterans and multititled talents moved a step closer to stints in the ICTSI Philippine Golf Tour next season with long-hitting veteran Ramil Bisera leading Qualifying School by two strokes over Richard Abaring. Bisera fired a four-under-par 68 at Eagle Ridge’s Aoki course in Cavite for a 54-hole 216 total, two ahead of Abaring, who also had a 68. Former Philippine Open winner Artemio Murakami lay three shots behind after a 71-219. Only the top 20 will earn lots for next year’s Tour. Musong R. Castillo
