Foton seeks FBA clincher vs NU
PAMPANGA Foton goes for the clincher as it clashes with Manila National University-MFT Sunday in Game 2 of their Filsports Basketball Association (FBA) Second Conference best-of-three title series at Colegio De Sebastian gym in San Fernando, Pampanga.
Behind the clutch shooting of Levi Hernandez, the Toplanders took Game 1 last Tuesday, 76-69, to move within a win of their first title. They finished second behind Quezon City UP in the previous conference.
Hernandez scored 13 points, including a crucial three-point play in the stretch that quashed the Bulldogs’ rally in Game 1.
The Bulldogs will pin their hopes on Issa Gaye and Kim Cinco.
Game time is 5 p.m. after the annual awarding ceremony of the Korgivit-E-backed season.
FBA president and CEO LJ Serrano and commissioner Vince Hizon will lead the awards rites. The game will be aired via Aksyon TV, Net 25, their international affiliates and Fox Sports International.
