The NBA has unveiled the kits for the All-Star game in Toronto, Canada this coming Valentine’s day.
Both the Eastern and Western conference All-Stars will don uniforms featuring elements native to Canada as the league pays homage to Toronto’s NBA history.
It will the NBA’s first All-Star game outside of the United States.
Toronto first hosted the NBA’s first game when the Toronto Huskies faced the New York Knickerbockers on Nov. 1, 1946.
East will wear a traditional white-and-blue uniforms while the Wes will wear red-and-white. But the jerseys will feature a maple leaf overlay on the front of the jerseys as a tribute to Canada’s national symbol and Toronto’s cityscape across the back.
Star patches, which incorporate the maple leaf and NBA logo, is displayed on the upper back portion of the jerseys while black-and-gold tags display the Raptors’ alternate team colors and claw logo.
