GlobalPort forward Jay Washington got ejected after picking up his second technical foul in the third quarter of Game 2 of the 2016 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals between the Batang Pier and the Alaska Aces on Wednesday night.

Washington received another technical for second motion against Alaska’s Calvin Abueva, whom he also shoved during the opening quarter scuffle where he merited his first technical foul.

Washington’s ejection at the 3:23 mark couldn’t have come at a worse time for Batang Pier, who were trailing, 66-55. GlobalPort went on to loss 110-76.

The 34-year-old veteran finished with 10 points six rebounds in 20 minutes and 35 seconds of action before getting tossed.

The technical foul on Washington was the game’s 16th in total, the most in league history, as per head statistician Fidel Mangonon.
