In a game that featured 16 technical fouls, Jay Washington of Globalport accounted for two of them.

Washington, though feeling sorry for his ejection, did not mince words when talking about Alaska forward Calvin Abueva, calling the wingman’s antics “dirty s**t.”

“The stuff he does out there is uncalled for,” Washington said Wednesday after their 100-76 blowout loss against the Aces. “All the dirty s**t. Everybody knows me, I don’t play that way, but at the same time I have to protect myself as a player.”

Washington’s first technical came early in the game when he and Abueva came into shoves that almost incited a brawl and caused 13 technical fouls in one swift motion.

Globalport’s versatile big man knows he has to see Commissioner Chito Narvasa about the incident but is hoping the latter would look at his side.

“I’m sure I’ll have to see the commissioner and just explain my side,” Washington said. “That was their game plan, obviously, to play that way today. To play a lot more physical, do those antics and stuff.”

The veteran journeyman was later on thrown out for incurring a second technical and was fined P4,000 by the PBA Commissioner’s Office.
