Troy Rosario has been named by FIBA as the country’s top men’s 3×3 player in the first release of its individual rankings for the year 2016.
The TNT rookie was part of the Manila North team which placed runner-up in the Manila Masters last August and finished sixth in the World Tour Finals in Abu Dhabi.
Ranked 74th in the world, Rosario amassed 315,900 points to banner the Filipino contingent in the halfcourt.
Teammate Calvin Abueva is slotted at 80th, followed by Vic Manuel (83rd), and Karl Dehesa (87th).
Novi Sad Al Wahda’s Dusan Domovic Bulut remained as the top men’s 3×3 player in the world.
Vio Rivera of Abu Dhabi-based Lady Dragons, meanwhile, was hailed as the Philippines’ top women’s 3×3 player.
