/ 12:00 AM January 12, 2016

JOBIM Carlos joins five experienced Filipinos pros starting tomorrow in gunning for an Asian Tour 2016 card as the final stage of Q School tees off at Springfield Royal Country Club in Hua Tin, Thailand.

Five days removed from winning a second straight Philippine Amateur stroke play title, Carlos has high expectations in the 72-hole event where Jay Bayron, Clyde Mondilla, Charles Hong, Orlan Sumcad and Michael Bibat are also taking part in.

“I’m incredibly excited to try out for Q School,” Carlos said. “Hopefully, the course suits my game.”

Carlos will be taking part as am amateur, like he did in topping the local tour’s qualifying last year, as he will still play for Canlubang in the Philippine Airlines Interclub set at Mimosa and Fontana in Clark Field in Pampanga late next month.
