PRINCESS Superal, on a hot international streak, tries to add the Philippine Ladies Open golf crown to an impressive list of victories starting tomorrow at Tagaytay Midlands.
Superal has a five-tournament streak going and is undoubtedly the hottest local player, making her the player to watch in the foreign-flavored, 54-hole tournament.
The 19-year-old Superal, who was second in the all-pro Ladies Open at Southlinks last year, will be coming off a win at the tough Hong Kong Amateur Open two weeks ago.
A handful of Thais, South Koreans, Malaysians and bets from Australia, Hong Kong and Japan are also taking part in the event last won by a Filipino, former Southeast Asian Games champion Chiiro Ikeda, in 2011.
Pauline del Rosario, another member of the rock-solid ICTSI-The Country Club stable, is tipped to crowd Superal at the top together with recently-crowned PH Am champion Harmie Constantino. Musong R. Castillo
